Dr. Weingarten is a Board-Certified radiologist with special expertise in Neuroradiology. Dr. Weingarten became CAQ certified in 1995 and again in 2005. Dr. Weingarten was a Staff Neuroradiologist at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center from 1987-1997, during which time she performed some of the seminal research on the MRI appearance of intracranial hemorrhage and authored many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. She has served as a peer-reviewer for the prestigious American Journal of Neuroradiology. Currently, Dr. Weingarten uses her vast expertise in Neuroradiology as part of a large multispecialty imaging center on Long Island.
